PM Modi Questions Congress on Minority Rights and Resource Allocation – Flaunt Post

Published

on

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched an aggressive assault on the Congress party during a political rally in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, casting doubt on their position on resource distribution and minority rights. This criticism follows the announcement of the caste census findings for Bihar, which showed that 63 percent of the state’s population was made up of members of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs).

PM Modi began his address by invoking the words of his predecessor, Manmohan Singh, who had emphasised that minorities had the first right to the country’s resources. Modi drew attention to a shift in the Congress’s stance, one that appeared to give population size priority in the distribution of resources. He questioned whether this modification represented a decrease in minorities’ rights or perhaps their elimination from consideration.

The Prime Minister responded to Rahul Gandhi’s earlier statements, in which the Congress leader emphasised the saying “Jitni Abadi, Utna Haq” (greater population, greater right) in relation to the caste census results from Bihar. In Bihar, there are a lot of OBCs, SCs, and STs, but they are underrepresented in the Central Government, according to Rahul Gandhi, who complimented the census for revealing this.

Modi’s criticism brought up significant issues about the Congress party’s shifting views on minority rights and resource distribution. He also questioned if the Hindu majority, who made up the bulk of the population in a situation where population size controlled rights, should assert all rights. This line of inquiry created a political discussion that had repercussions for the political climate in Bihar, where the OBCs and EBCs make up a sizable section of the population. Further reiterating his loyalty to the underprivileged, PM Modi emphasised his resolve to prioritise the welfare of economically disadvantaged populations. He criticised the Congress for what he perceived as a history of using the poor’s sympathies and sustaining a caste-based divide over a long period of time.

The results of Bihar’s caste census have been made public, which has expanded the political conversation there. It highlights how important caste-based politics are, especially in a location where OBCs, SCs, and STs are significant factors in political dynamics. If the Congress wins the national election, it has pledged to conduct a caste-based census that will further the present political discussion.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Modi’s criticism of the Congress’s position on minority rights and resource distribution has sparked a political debate with broad implications. It is unclear how these discussions will affect the political climate, particularly in regions like Bihar where caste-based considerations have a big influence on election results. As the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 approach, the Congress, for its part, must address these issues and clarify its position to the electorate.

Published

Sarah Burton has officially redefined Givenchy. In her Fall 2025 debut at Paris Fashion Week, the former Alexander McQueen creative director brought a feminine perspective to the legendary house, embracing strength, vulnerability, and emotional intelligence. This moment felt significant—not only because of Burton’s storied past but also because so few women currently helm major luxury brands.

A Tribute to Givenchy’s Heritage

Burton’s inspiration came from Hubert de Givenchy’s 1952 debut collection, known for its clean, graphic silhouettes. A recent discovery of the maison’s archival calico patterns further fueled her vision, leading to designs that balanced wearable ease with dramatic, couture-like elements.

The show opened with a black fishnet catsuit, a bold reset before transitioning into the essence of Burton’s Givenchy—a collection that honored the past while embracing modern femininity.

Key Looks & Defining Elements

Oversized Suits with Cinched Waists → A powerful balance of structure and fluidity.

Sleeveless Dresses with Ruffled Hemlines → Adding movement and drama to everyday elegance.

Cocoon-Like Coats & Jackets → Featuring rounded, puffed-up shoulders, nodding to Givenchy’s classic volume play.

Body-Diverse Runway Casting → One of the few Paris shows this season to feature a range of body types, reinforcing Burton’s commitment to dressing real women.

A New Vision for Modern Women

Burton’s Givenchy is about more than just clothes—it’s about how women want to feel: powerful, sexy, vulnerable, and strong, all at once. Her debut collection wasn’t just a runway success—it was a statement on the future of fashion, where femininity is both celebrated and redefined.
