How Demi Moore Got Ready for the 2025 Oscars

Hollywood icon Demi Moore brought timeless glamour to the 2025 Oscars, dazzling on the red carpet in a crystal-embellished Armani Privé gown paired with exquisite Chopard jewels. While her role in The Substance involved striking (and unsettling) beauty transformations, Moore’s personal Oscars look was all about elegance, radiance, and sophistication. With the help of her glam team, led by makeup artist Sofia Tilbury and hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, Moore embraced a fresh yet dramatic beauty look that perfectly complemented her stunning ensemble.
A Radiant, Red-Carpet-Ready Glow
Tilbury, who worked exclusively with Charlotte Tilbury Beauty products, focused on creating luminous skin with subtle pops of color. “Tonight’s look inspiration was all about radiant, fresh skin with pops of color on the cheeks and a sultry sparkle on the eye,” Tilbury shared. “Demi’s gorgeous Armani gown was such a showstopper on the red carpet, so we knew the beauty look had to bring the same level of drama.”
The process began with a hydrating skincare routine, a crucial step in achieving Moore’s signature glow. “As Charlotte always says, you can’t have a beautiful painting without a beautiful canvas, so this step is critical,” Tilbury explained. She prepped Moore’s skin with the brand’s iconic Magic Cream, ensuring a deeply moisturized base before applying the Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer SPF 50 to enhance longevity and protection.
To achieve a flawless complexion, Tilbury applied Hollywood Flawless Filter, creating a soft-focus effect while maintaining a natural radiance. Areas needing additional coverage were perfected using the Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer in Moore’s exact shade, while a lighter shade was strategically placed for an instant lifting effect. “It’s an application hack I absolutely love—it snatches the face in seconds,” Tilbury revealed.
Defining the Eyes and Lips
For Moore’s eyes, Tilbury opted for soft definition with the Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette, blending neutral tones to add depth before incorporating a touch of shimmer from the Uptown Girl Luxury Palette. The final result was a sultry, sophisticated gaze that caught the light effortlessly.
Lips were kept classic yet long-lasting, thanks to Tilbury’s signature trick. She lined Moore’s lips with Lip Cheat Liner in Pillow Talk Medium before applying K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Candy Chic. To ensure the color lasted throughout the night’s festivities, Tilbury dusted a thin layer of Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder over the lipstick. “It’s a great lip hack for anyone looking to create a lip look that will last through dinner, drinks, cheek kisses—you name it,” she said.
The “Sandwich Hack” for Long-Lasting Makeup
To make sure Moore’s makeup stayed flawless from the red carpet to the after-parties, Tilbury relied on her and Charlotte’s tried-and-true “Sandwich Hack.”
“What you do is apply a thin mist of the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray all over the face, giving it a moment to set into the skin,” she explained. “Then you take Charlotte’s Airbrush Flawless Finish and gently press it into the T-zone, eliminating any unwanted oiliness or shine. This gave Demi’s skin such a beautiful, blurred mesh effect—perfect for being photographed on the red carpet.”
A Hair Look Inspired by the Past
Complementing her radiant makeup, hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos crafted a soft, voluminous blowout reminiscent of one of Moore’s early 2000s magazine shoots. Using Moroccanoil products to achieve shine and movement, he created a modern take on a timeless, effortlessly chic style.
With her stunning beauty look and head-turning gown, Demi Moore proved once again why she remains one of Hollywood’s most iconic stars. Through expert techniques, smart beauty hacks, and a touch of vintage inspiration, she embodied classic elegance with a fresh, modern twist at the 2025 Oscars.

Rabanne Fall/Winter 2025: A 1960s Beauty Revival

Rabanne’s Fall/Winter 2025 show was a glamorous throwback to 1960s Paris, with big bouffant hair and bold, smoky eyes dominating the runway. The iconic French-girl aesthetic was on full display, blending vintage inspiration with modern edge.
The Makeup: Statement Eyes & Subtle Rebellion
Rabanne Beauty’s creative director, Diane Kendal, crafted a striking yet effortless makeup look that channeled icons like Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve. Models wore slightly winged, waterline eyeliner and taupe-hued smoky eyeshadow, smudged across the lids and under the eyes for a soft but dramatic effect.
Kendal, known for pushing beauty boundaries, chose to highlight natural skin while focusing on bold eye makeup—a subtle rebellion against the typical all-over glam seen on high-fashion runways. This “done-yet-undone” style perfectly complemented Rabanne’s flamboyant fabrics, sparkles, and sequins.
Hair: The Return of the Bouffant
Fluffy, voluminous bouffants were the crowning statement of the show. The models’ teased, combed-back hair added a touch of vintage glamour, reinforcing the collection’s nostalgic yet playfully modern feel.
Rabanne’s Beauty Revolution
Rabanne Beauty continues to redefine makeup with gender-neutral, statement-making products. The runway featured some of its standout offerings, including:
Shimmer Bomb – An all-over glitter spray for an extra dose of Rabanne’s signature glitz.
Top Coat Mascara – A silver and gold formula that gave lashes a tinsel-like effect.

Mikey Madison Keeps It Simple and Classic With Her 2025 Oscars Updo

At just 25 years old, Anora star Mikey Madison made history as the youngest nominee for Best Actress at the 2025 Oscars. Marking her red carpet debut in grand style, Madison stunned in a breathtaking pink and black Dior gown, perfectly complemented by a sparkling Tiffany & Co. necklace. However, it was her effortlessly elegant updo that truly solidified her as one of the best-dressed stars of the night.
Madison’s hairstyle, reminiscent of the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn, seamlessly tied together her vintage-inspired look. The updo, styled by celebrity hair artist Rena Calhoun, paid homage to classic Hollywood glamour while maintaining a modern touch.
“Generally, Mikey prefers the feel of something polished yet effortless,” Calhoun shared with ELLE.com. “She also loves to reference the classic elegance of vintage starlets from the past.”
For the special night, Madison and Calhoun collaborated to create a look that mirrored the soft and simple beauty of the bow adorning her Dior gown. The ribboned updo not only complemented her dress but also showcased her signature understated sophistication.

Amanda Nguyen: Fighting for Justice, Healing, and Hope

In 2013, Amanda Nguyen was a Harvard student with dreams of working at NASA. But after surviving sexual assault, she found herself in a battle—not just for justice, but for the rights of all survivors.
When she discovered that her rape kit would be destroyed after six months, she successfully fought to change Massachusetts law. That fight led her to draft and lobby for the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Rights Act, which passed in Congress. She also helped push forward the UN’s first worldwide resolution on sexual assault survivors’ rights during peacetime.
Now, in her new memoir, Saving Five (out March 4), Nguyen shares her deeply personal journey—from trauma to activism to healing.
Reclaiming Her Story Through Writing
Nguyen structured Saving Five as a nonlinear conversation between different versions of herself—from childhood to adulthood.
“There are only two people you need to make proud in your life: five-year-old you and 80-year-old you,” she writes.
Her friend Chanel Miller, author of Know My Name, says Nguyen’s story is a powerful testament to resilience.
“Obviously, we don’t want more survivors,” Miller says. “But the survivor club is made up of some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever encountered.”
Nguyen explains that healing isn’t just about therapy or activism—it’s about how we choose to find meaning in everyday life.
Finding Strength in Nature and Space
For Nguyen, the stars and landscapes have always been sources of healing.
“The arc of my spaceflight is about healing,” she explains. “That dream is as much about being able to accomplish whatever you want as a kid as it is about not letting my identity be completely overridden by the cards life handed me.”
Nguyen and Miller have even found solace in small moments—like going on nature walks and picking favorite trees.
“It’s about learning to exercise the muscle of joy,” she says. “Hope and joy are things that can be expanded by exercising them every day.”
A Future Without Limits
Beyond activism, Nguyen is preparing for a Blue Origin spaceflight, which would make her the first Southeast Asian woman to travel to space.
