Sonia Gandhi and BJP Clash Over Women’s Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha

He praised PM Modi for calling a special session to introduce the Women’s Reservation Bill and praised it as a way to treat Indian women with dignity and provide them with reservations.
The BJP MP also brought up a previous incident from 2012, when a difficult situation similar to this one played out in the Lok Sabha. He recalled how, during a session, Samajwadi Party member Yashvir Singh had forcibly taken and dismantled a bill pertaining to promotional quotas for SCs and STs. Due to her intervention in that tumultuous situation, Sonia Gandhi was reminded by Dubey that she was neither a ruler nor a queen.
