Bihar Train Tragedy: Derailment of North East Express Claims Lives and Injures Dozens – Flaunt Post

Published

on

In a tragic turn of events, Bihar witnessed a devastating train accident that shook the nation. The incident occurred near Raghunathpur station in the Buxar district, leaving a tragic trail of death and injury. The unfortunate Delhi-Kamakhya North East Express derailed and nearly 12 carriages were thrown off the tracks. Numerous people died due to this tragic incident, which injured up to 100 passengers. At 7:45 a.m., the 12506 Down North East Express set out on its fateful journey from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi to Kamakhya Junction in Guwahati, Assam. But what was supposed to have been an ordinary train trip became a terrible calamity, taking lives and disrupting the peace.

At least six fatalities were reported, according to Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Pramod Kumar, who confirmed the tragic death toll. Following the derailment, railway sources revealed the severe injuries that passengers had endured. The seriousness of the situation caused officials to act immediately, ordering numerous hospitals, including those in Ara, Buxar, and Patna, such as PMCH, AIIMS, and IGIMS, to get ready for a surge in patients and make sure that the injured survivors are given proper medical care.

An official statement from the East Central Railway zone highlighted the extensive train cancellations and diversions that were required as a result of the accident. Patna-Puri Special (03230), Sasaram-Ara Special (03620), Bhabua Road Express Special (03617), Patna-DDU Memu Pass Spl (03203), and Patna-Buxar Memu Pass Special (03375) were among the cancelled trains. In addition, two trains, the DDU-Patna Express (13210) and the Patna-DDU Express (13209), were only partially cancelled; they ran only as far as Ara. A number of other trains, such as Pune-Danapur SF Express (12149), Patliputra SF Express (12141), Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express (12424), Vikramshila Express (12368), Kamakhya Express (15623), Guwahati Express (15633), Rajendra Nagar Terminal Tejas Rajdhani Express (12310), Bhagalpur Garib Rath Express (22406), Anvt Rdp Express (22488), were diverted onto alternative routes to mitigate the impact of the derailment on train services.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Railway Minister, gave an update on the rescue effort that is still going on at the scene of the Buxar incident. He emphasised the significance of a coordinated response including numerous agencies and local people. Rescue efforts were greatly aided by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). Soon, injured passengers were taken to local hospitals, and a special war room was set up to manage the response activities and offer rapid assistance to those in need.

Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, quickly stepped into action in the midst of this dreadful occurrence, consulting with the district magistrate and superintendent of police in Buxar and Arrah. He worked hard to see that all the essential preparations were done for the injured passengers. He streamlined the rescue and relief efforts by sending concerned officials to the scene. The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Northern Railways released helplines in order to aid travellers and their families during this difficult period. Through these helplines, passengers may get information and support. Contact information was supplied for Patna, Danapur, Ara, and CNL, among other sites. For passengers in need, the authorities provided emergency contact numbers in addition to the railway’s helplines. Those looking for help during the crisis had these numbers as a lifeline.

Although this horrible occurrence has shocked the entire country, it is heartening to see how quickly authorities, rescue crews, and medical personnel have responded. Supporting the injured, reestablishing rail service, and looking into what caused this terrible catastrophe remain the key priorities. As the country laments the lives lost in this tragic incident, we pray for a speedy recovery for the injured and a thorough investigation to stop similar mishaps in the future.

The third day of Paris Fashion Week saw designers exploring the intricate relationship between gestures and clothing, emphasizing how fashion is not just about what we wear but also how we wear it. Collections from Tom Ford, Dries Van Noten, and Courrèges examined the power of poise, movement, and expression in shaping the narrative of style.

Tom Ford: Seductive Refinement

At Tom Ford, the runway exuded understated sensuality with structured silhouettes, slinky fabrics, and sharp tailoring. The collection celebrated the way garments move with the body, emphasizing controlled elegance and effortless allure. The balance between precision and fluidity played a key role in defining the brand’s signature poise.

Dries Van Noten: The Art of Subtle Motion

Dries Van Noten explored grace in everyday movements, showcasing fluid draping, asymmetry, and layered textures that interacted beautifully with body language. Models glided down the runway in sheer overlays, deconstructed tailoring, and muted tones, creating an atmosphere of quiet sophistication.

Courrèges: A Futuristic Take on Gesture

At Courrèges, the focus was on modern minimalism and futuristic silhouettes that adapted to movement. With high collars, sculptural cuts, and sleek monochromes, the collection emphasized how posture and poise can transform a garment. The interplay between rigid and flowing elements created a striking contrast, reinforcing the theme of fashion as an extension of personal expression.

Final Thoughts: Fashion as a Language of Movement

Day three of Paris Fashion Week proved that style is more than aesthetics—it’s about the way clothing interacts with the body and the world around it. Rabanne Fall/Winter 2025: A 1960s Beauty Revival

Published

on

Rabanne’s Fall/Winter 2025 show was a glamorous throwback to 1960s Paris, with big bouffant hair and bold, smoky eyes dominating the runway. The iconic French-girl aesthetic was on full display, blending vintage inspiration with modern edge.

The Makeup: Statement Eyes & Subtle Rebellion

Rabanne Beauty’s creative director, Diane Kendal, crafted a striking yet effortless makeup look that channeled icons like Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve. Models wore slightly winged, waterline eyeliner and taupe-hued smoky eyeshadow, smudged across the lids and under the eyes for a soft but dramatic effect.

Kendal, known for pushing beauty boundaries, chose to highlight natural skin while focusing on bold eye makeup—a subtle rebellion against the typical all-over glam seen on high-fashion runways. This “done-yet-undone” style perfectly complemented Rabanne’s flamboyant fabrics, sparkles, and sequins.

Hair: The Return of the Bouffant

Fluffy, voluminous bouffants were the crowning statement of the show. The models’ teased, combed-back hair added a touch of vintage glamour, reinforcing the collection’s nostalgic yet playfully modern feel.

Rabanne’s Beauty Revolution

Rabanne Beauty continues to redefine makeup with gender-neutral, statement-making products. The runway featured some of its standout offerings, including:

Shimmer Bomb – An all-over glitter spray for an extra dose of Rabanne’s signature glitz.

Top Coat Mascara – A silver and gold formula that gave lashes a tinsel-like effect.
